Challenge
The client is hosting a food festival in 15 days and requires a custom seafood display prop that is reusable and easy to move.
Solution
The challenge with this order lay in the short delivery timeframe and the requirement for a lightweight product, while there were no strict demands regarding the number of usage cycles; consequently, we adopted a solution combining SLA and curing processes.
Result
Day 1: We confirmed the product drawings, operating environment, handling equipment, and usage frequency with the client. Day 2: The client and we finalized the order delivery date, shipping method, and payment terms. Days 3–5: The production department scheduled the workflow and carried out production using the SLA process. Days 6–8: We performed slicing, assembly, and curing, followed by basic surface processing. Days 9–10: The surface finishing department applied the final surface treatment (painting). Day 11: The quality department inspected the surface and performed detailed touch-ups. Day 12: Our sales representative sent photos and videos of the product to the client for remote inspection. Day 13: The client confirmed the shipping carrier, and we proceeded with custom packaging. Day 14: The goods were shipped.
